Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you might wonder about
What is Written in Stars?
We use the NASA JPL — the gold standard of astronomical calculation — to cast your natal chart with mathematical precision. An AI then composes a deeply personal interpretation of your celestial blueprint. This is astronomy meeting language: not fortune-telling, not prophecy, but a mirror crafted from real planetary positions at the moment of your birth.
How accurate are the calculations?
The astronomical calculations are precise to the arc-second, powered by the same NASA JPL used by professional astrologers and astronomers worldwide. The interpretation is composed by an advanced AI, drawing on the rich tradition of astrological symbolism. The planets are exact; the meaning is an offering.
Do you store my personal data?
No. Your birth data exists only for the duration of your session and is not stored permanently. We do not create accounts, do not require registration, and do not use tracking cookies. When your session ends, the data dissolves. We believe your story belongs to you alone.
Is this appropriate for children?
Written in Stars is designed for adults aged 18 and older. Astrology is a mirror that requires a certain maturity to hold. We ask that younger visitors wait until the time is right.
How does the AI work?
After the NASA JPL calculates your precise planetary positions, houses, and aspects, an advanced AI interprets these placements through the lens of astrological tradition. Each reading is unique, composed specifically for your chart. No two readings are alike, because no two charts are.
Can I get a refund?
Each reading is a digital product, uniquely generated in the moment for your specific birth data. Like a letter written only for you, it cannot be unwritten. For this reason, readings are non-refundable. If something went wrong technically, please reach out — we will always try to make it right.
Who created this?
Written in Stars was born from a fascination with the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern technology. It is an independent project, built with care by a small team that believes the cosmos has something to say — and that mathematics and language can help us listen.
